really liked it

Second time around, I loved this. It was exactly the light, airy pick-me-up that I needed. How things change.

Review to come.

9.09% "I love that the setting is non-American (and the setting is captured so well) but I wish there were more YA books with non-American characters, too: YA books set outside of the USA are almost always about Americans moving to other countries. Do authors fear people won't relate to non-Americans? Why? The world is not 95% American."

9.68% "Also, it's a shame that almost every non-USA-set YA book I've read has its characters living in the most expensive areas of the most expensive cities. I's have loved to see Kate living in the low income areas of Paris, showing perhaps a realer side of the city. It's not the book's fault and this isn't really a chiding. Just something I think I'd like to see more of in general."
