Something a little different from Morticia Knight, something I enjoyed, found fascinating and a very interesting start to a new series.

When a planet of aliens need a new home they choose earth and they easily take over the planet when they arrive. They have been fed a pack of lies about the human race from their leader believing that humans are cold, have no compassion and need sex to sate them and keep them obedient.

If the aliens are lucky in life they find their mate and tie themselves in a bonding ceremony. Their relationships have a strong D/s dynamic that keeps them balanced. Lasar and Nary are one such soul matched pair and they have been awarded a human, think sex toy, for their hard work in taking over earth.

Chris has really been put through the wringer since the aliens invaded. His father is dead, his mother and sisters are relying on him to save them and they are stuck on a mountain with dwindling supplies. A trip with his cousin to restock food and clothing finds him trapped, caught in a net and then naked in alien cages. Life seems determined to go downhill even further when he gets on the wrong side of his alien guard but then in walks Nary – an alien who saves him from his fate but makes his situation very much more complicated.

Slave for Two is a HFN ending as it sets up the story for the rest of the series. A third soul match is unheard of, a soul match between humans and aliens is unheard of and Chris is very definitely not at all like the aliens have been led to believe. I am really looking forward to book 2 in this series and have my fingers crossed I won’t be waiting too long! I suspect there are some challenging times ahead for our unlikely trio.
