I received this book from the author through the GoodReads M/M Romance group's, Don't Buy Me Love program, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I'm torn as to what to write about this book....

First and foremost I have to say that every time that I read Ahna, Stitch came to mind because Ohana means family and it's so similar.

It's definitely the beginning of a series though I'm left with the feeling it's more the first installment of a serial. Honestly, I hesitate to refer to this as a romance. I would have preferred more balance between the characters interactions and the world building.

While I liked the characters I must admit that I skimmed here and there throughout. I am glad that we were given some time in each of the MC's POV otherwise I don't think that I would have liked it all. As it is, I want to read the next installment to find out what happens to not only Chris, Nary & Lasar but also to Morgan and Earth. I wish that this had been longer and not ended on a cliffhanger. I intensely dislike cliffhangers.
