This series is one of those type of books that make it impossible to explain what actually happened and how I felt about. Let me just tell you that I'm in love with this series and completely obsessed with it. I can't seem to put these books down and I'm always itching to find out what happens next.

I'm actually so sad that I have to wait for my copy of Crystal Storm to arrived. I'm so not ready to leave this world for longer than a few days. Also, how will I cope with a whole year before the epic conclusion next December?! I hate myself for getting caught up so quickly!!!

The last 40% of this book was incredible, however the first 60% was a bit slow paced. This cover is my absolute favourite, even though I grew to loathe this particular character. There will be some spoilers in this review but I'll try my best to mark the big ones - general ones such as ships will not be marked so BEWARE.

There was a certain event that occurred in this book that left me feeling a bit meh. (view spoiler)[Going into Frozen Tides, I was aware that someone was going to die. I'd seen it in status updates and a friend of mine hinted that it would happen. From what I had seen, it was someone that no one really cared for so I instantly assumed it was Jonas because I've seen a lot of negative reviews about him. However, it was in fact Lysandra who was burned to death and vanished? I'm kinda confused about her death and it was utterly pointless. Honestly, I only started liking her as a character because of her name (same as Lysandra from the Throne of Glass series) so I wasn't too concerned by her death. (hide spoiler)]

Magnus and Cleo will forever remain my favourite characters in this book so I'm beyond ecstatic that they are a ship. I will go down with the Magneo ship and no one can stop me.
If you want a sum up of this ship:

LITERALLY THEY ARE SO CONFUSING AND SO BACK AND FORTH AND I NEED THEM TO SHUT UP AND JUST LOVE EACH OTHER UNCONDITIONALLY ALREADY.

"He didn't deserve her; he knew he didn't. He was the Prince of Blood, the son of a monster, who said and did cruel things. Who preemptively leapt to hurt anyone before they could hurt him first. But he would show her that he would change. Magnus could change for her."

Honestly there's something about the 'enemies to lovers' love story that makes me ship it so hard it hurts. I just need them to be happy okay

Jonas is a hot mess and I don't even know where to begin to talk about him. I definitely grew to like him a lot more in this one. I've always liked him as a characters but he's been so irrational in the past 3 books and I think he's starting to find his chill.

LUCIA WHAT THE FUCK HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH YOU GIRLFRIEND?! I really liked Lucia but damn she's a bitch for a lot of this book. I went from loving her to hating her and now I'm back to liking her again. She want through a lot in this book and damn I feel for her. (view spoiler)[ I CANT BELIEVE SHE'S PREGNANT!!!!!! I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THAT. I'm so interested to see what happens from here - will she have the baby? what's going to happen now that she's in the sanctuary???? I need some answers asap! The King is a prick and (view spoiler)[ I can't believe he actually had a heart with some really fucked up motives. Also, Magnus isn't Sabina's child???? What???? Why is he lying all the time? I can't trust a word he says tbh. (hide spoiler)]

I'M JUST SO HAPPY BECAUSE I CAN FINALLY READ THE BLURB OF BOOK 5 BECAUSE I WAS TOLD I WASN'T ALLOWED TO READ IT SINCE THERE WERE BIG SPOILERS IN IT.

I say this every time, but READ THIS BOOK. Read this series. Don't talk to me unless you do.
