I didn’t like the beginning (view spoiler)[especially morning-after with OW and flashbacks about their sex + sex-scene with other OW only a short time after. It cheapened the hero character – hell, I knew he wasn’t a virgin or celibate monk, but sex with 2 OWs (even without taking shower in between) was disgusting. And 7-year affair with married woman was my hard limit – above all I didn’t feel epic love or hot chemistry between them, so there was no explanation / no excuse to sleep with married woman. Unless he was a weak man… But it would make his character more unattractive… So, I tried not to think about this mess, but you know how it goes… (hide spoiler)]

I liked the book after MCs met and I loved the epilogue.

But, damn, there are much worse books with much worse heroes and weak whiny heroines, and cheating and and and

This one had a strong woman as a heroine and the hero was faithful to her.

So, I turn a blind eye to the beginning of the book and rate this one with 3.5 stars.
