In Crown of Lies, book 1 heiress Elle Charlston, Bell Button was swept off her feet by infuriatingly sexy investor Penn Everett. Though their sex was explosive she was ill prepared to deal with Penn’s unpredictable temper switching from dirty-talking seducer to commanding and possessive a-hole.
Throne of Lies, book 2 opens up to book 1’s distressing ending. Penn and Elle have much to overcome. It’s a treacherous and angst-filled, at times hopeless, journey of danger and sacrifices; truths and forgiveness; compromise and self-reflection.
