really liked it

If you are looking for something lighthearted and humorous, here you go. I enjoyed this one. Book blurb had me thinking he might be a bit of an asshole but he wasn't really. Yeah, he was a smartass and had a dirty mouth but there were no real assholery (is that even a word) moves on his part.

Like the heroine. She gave as good as she got.

"You're really crass. You went from sweet to pig in ten seconds flat.

LOL. I just did a search on Pinterest for "egomaniac". Definitely not what I wanted to see. I will give you a hint. "January 20th, Buffoon, next four years in the USA." I think you get my drift.

"This tastes like turpentine." Emerie's face twisted.
I sipped. "It's twenty-five-year-old Glenmorangie. That's six-hundred-dollar-a-bottle paint thinner you're drinking there."

"shudders" - it is definitely an acquired taste. Not a fan of whiskey but especially not a fan of those peaty, Scottish ones.

Yeah, I don't even bother telling myself that anymore. The only book-willpower I have is buying everything.

I am going to try and stop for a while and get through the stuff I have. Unless it is SB, SEP, KS, KC and maybe KA. LOL. Good on you if you identify all those authors. I know you will get most of them.
