I really enjoyed the story Abby & Rufus.
I have no first hand understanding of a DD/lg relationship, but I have read a couple of books in this genre, which by not means makes me an expert, but I do know what I enjoy about these stories.
Rufus was strong, sweet and completely likeable from page one to the end. His demeanour never changed, even when emotion ran high, and its exactly what Abby needed. He was firm, understanding & very sexy in a "yes, daddy" kind of way. And when Daddy came to play, the thermostat went right up.
I liked Abby too, she really was a lost little girl in a world she didn't quite fit into, until Rufus gave her the confidence to be exactly who she wanted to be. I felt her confusion and disappointment, her excitement and her joy. In a way, this is a coming of age story as much as it is a romance, learning to accept who you are and hold you head high in the face of external scrutiny.
This book is sweet, sexy, and the emotion felt very real when the boiling point came - dealing outside pressure from those who don't understand. Angsty but without unnecessary drama for drama' sake, I really felt for both Abby & Rufus during the eye of their storm.
Now, where are my fairy princess wings...
