D/s with light age play. Abby's abilities and behaviors reflected a low IQ. She didn't have a lot of life skills and wasn't able to live independently. She was very easily manipulated too. Rufus was a sweet boyfriend but not the best Dom. Rufus pushed personal and legal boundaries with Abby at the beginning. He did redeem himself further on. The D/s wasn't SSC. Rufus gave Abby a safeword, but he did not discuss limits. Abby blindly went along with everything. The sex scenes came across mechanical and didn't sizzle.
