I thought Book 2 in the series, Begin Again, would be hard to top, but I think Just Maybe did it! Crystal Walton established Cooper as an entertaining, ridiculously charming and handsome character in the last book, and lets him come into his own here.
Quinn is by far my favorite heroine of the series. The girl is a grammar nerd, baker, and wears Fruit of the Loom panties. This is my kind of girl. Smart, determined, and loving, yet a little misguided, you can't help but root for her.
The humor really shines in this book, from Cooper and Quinn, but also from Quinn's family of Southern bumpkins (who, aside from their Southernisms, seem like "every family," much to many people's dismay). The novel also has its touching moments too, which you'd expect from characters each grieving life-changing losses.
Well written and hard to put down. A new romance favorite I highly recommend!
