If it weren't for my reading guru Anna, who recommended this book to me many times over the year, I probably wouldn't have read it. You see, SEP is an author that doesn't really work for me, but at the same time she does. Am I making any sense!?

The plot was completely ridiculous. The heroine who's a genius physics professor tricks the hero, a legendary quarterback, into impregnating her.


The crazy plot only spiraled from here. The hero finds out and the true enemies-lovers story starts. The "hate" between the MCs was so entertaining, backed up with the witty banter and great characterization. I'm always game for an awesome enemies-lovers story and this one was really well written.
There was also a part in this book that made me shed a tear or two.

But the most important thing about this silly book is that I laughed. Even to tears. I LOL'd like crazy.


Now tell me if that's not what reading is all about. Pure entertainment!

I loved both MCs. I never hated Jane for what she did or Cal for how badly he sometimes treated her. They had an amazing chemistry. They were both stubborn, smart and bad-tempered. No OM/OW drama whatsoever was just a cherry on top. No virgins either.

SEP's writing style is really unique and quirky, I'm quite digging this 90's vibe. No dripping tight pu**ies or huge c*cks, a very mild foul language and great dialogue sequence.

I'm rating it 4* so I can have at least one lower rating than my friend.
