Deserving It by new to me author Angela Quarles, is an entertaining book. The two main characters, Claire and Conor, reside in the Sarasota area of Florida. They are the captains of their local hurling teams. They are realistic and easy to get to know. Both of them have been attracted to each other for a few years, but have done nothing about it. After advancing their teams to the next level of play, they are en-route back to their respective homes. Unfortunately, or fortunately for them, a hurricane closes down the airport and they are stuck with each other until the weather clears. They fall into hot and heavy lust, which evolves into more.

Claire and Conor are a hot couple, and I enjoyed being a part of their lives. Conor is from Ireland, so his use of Irish English was quite funny at times. Claire's personality was interesting, and her coping mechanisms were understandable. This is the third book from the author's Stolen Moments series and it can enjoyed as a standalone.
