Wow, Hannah. What a comprehensive, honest and EMOTIONAL review. I appreciate hearing how you felt; I often wonder the same thing -- when so few pages are allocated to a book, it is impossible, often (for me) to connect emotionally with the characters. I may still give this one a shot; though, of course, my bookshelves overfloweth.
