I enjoyed this second book in the Piper Morgan series as much as the first. Piper and her mom now live with Nanna and her dog, Oreo. More than anything, Piper wants to be a ‘helper bee’ at the school where her mother works, but how will she ever be better than Lily, the principal’s daughter? Piper is a cute, spunky, thoughtful character, who learns from her mistakes. For example, she discovers that winning isn’t everything. Sometimes being a good person is more important. Entertaining Class Facts come at the end of each chapter.
