This was published when my daughter was little, and I bought it for her.
Understand, I was a single mom, struggling to keep a roof over our heads, and most of her books came from the library, or yard sales, thrift shops, and friends. But it is an important book, because of all the crap out there about waiting for the prince. Hah!

This one is still in our library, and next time I come across it, I will pass it on to the next little girl I see in a Disney princess costume.

Great idea! Far better off for pretty princesses to be ‘pretty’ strong, ‘pretty’ smart, etc.
