I'm still not used to Lily White's arch mysteries and her dark tales. I still get book slapped for not being used to her craziness.

Justin is assigned to interrogate Rainey for being part of a crime. She recollects what happens but not the crime. Onward with the facinating tale she takes us throwing little snippets of the crime but keeps insisting telling the crime story in the end.

This story is of a broken girl, who makes bad dicisions and gets entrapped in its consequences. But hath noth for she has her own saviour to dig her out of her mess.

Do we not find this kind of themed books where heroine falls and hero saves her or vice versa? Here drop a fat dollop of Lily White's craziness and lo you have it twisted.

A large portion of the book is on Rainey's POV. The plot is engaging, heartbreaking and disgusting when you emphathize what Rainey went through.

I don't need to warn this book because we know Lily White is Lily White.

Louise H's Book Thoughts Fabulous review - it's brought all those delicious shivers back. I do worry about Lily's sanity sometimes 😂 with the dark and twisty tales she writes.

Birjis Amy: It's a psychological mind fuck (all of Lily White's books are), so if you're into this I'm hoping you'll enjoy it. :D

Bella - Great review, Birjis! 💘 Well, I ruined this book for myself. I mean, I still want to read it, but I know what will happen in the end, and even though I am normally fine with spoilers, I guess I wasn't ready for this one... Although, your five stars are soo tempting. I guess I will keep it. I might forget about the spoiler at some point... 😂

Birjis Bella: I feel you in this case. The key to enjoying this book is to forget the ending. Every mystery is explained at the end. I hope you are able to forget and please don't miss the book. And I have a book too to forget the spoilers, I couldn't resist reading it.
