Jack and Sadie have been friends since they were born. They always loved each other, but when Jack goes away to college and Sadie stays behind in Las Vegas life gets busy for Jack as he’s studying, doing internships, and network His goal is to be successful so him and Sadie can have a comfortable future. The problem is Jack doesn’t realize he’s skipping visits with Sadie and driving a wedge between them. Years later Sadie and Jack cross paths at a lavish wedding that she’s working at and a wedding that he’s in. Jack has become a successful NY ad executive while Sadie has become a laid back art student in San Diego. This book is about them learning what is important in life and learning how to forgive and move on and come together. I loved this book and the characters. I also loved that Jack ends up in my hometown of Encinitas.
