really liked it
bookshelves: contempt-romance, slow-burn, feel-good, chick-lit, small-town

This was sweet. It was super slow burn though. Our lead characters have history together, so you think this would go by faster. But we got a lot of scenes of them interacting harmlessly and then slowly realizing their attraction.

I appreciated our heroine's history. Her fiancé called off the wedding on their wedding day and it left her a mess. But when we find out why we learn how wonderful Faith is regardless of everything. Levi is intertwined in this story, but I won't spoil why.

What made this one less star is the fact that it felt too long. There were great banter scenes between Faith and her family, but after a while I started skimming. I also don't like chick lit, so much because it's so fluff. I did enjoy it, but the chances of this being higher than a four star is rare. I will be continuing the series because I'm in the mood for feel good books.
