it was ok

** spoiler alert ** Frenetic is the best way to describe this book. It's all over the place. Renee, the female MC is a witch, but has spent her entire life in denial, being raised by the woman she was told was her grandmother, but was actually her mom - who didn't seem to care she was lying to her her entire life, & leaving her unprepared to take on her duties.

Renee "somehow" automatically knows and utters an ancient spell that brings forth 2 angels. 1 from heaven, 1 from hell. Her ex-boyfriend, presumed dead, shows up UNdead, having "faked" his death, or undeath. The angels also lie to her by not telling her that they're only there to unlock her powers, and they'll have to go back where they came from. By the end of the book, when the 2 angels are taken away from her, I was pretty disgusted because the heroine "understands" why everyone lied to her and she forgives them (facepalm) and will find a way to bring back, or see, her angels again, no matter what.

She's left with her vampire ex, who is back in her life and her bed, ugh! I'm done. I don't actually care that there is a series revolving around this situation with other characters. Who WANTS liars back?
