David Putnam That was quite a few books ago. I still have the book and when I get caught up I'm going to give it another try. But right now I don't remember why I put it down. Sorry. It was probably just a slow-burn at a time when I wanted a thriller. :-)

Kathryn in FL I am trying to decide if I want to persist. I find the writing clunky (trying to impress us??), which slows me down, diminishes pleasure but I see so many giving it great reviews.
