A HUGE TENTACLE DILDO. imagine, ursula and prince eric and ariel and tentacle dildos.
I adore this series, and it's been almost a year since I last read book four which I enjoyed very much.
This was insta-love done right. This whole book spans over four days and they say "I love you"s during Day 3. But everything is drawn out that it doesn't really seem like it's that quick.
Anyway, with all the books of Katee, I appreciate how diverse her characters are. White, Black, Asian, Latino. Skinny, muscular, lean, plus-size. Hetero couples, lesbian ones, gay couples, a throuple— poly. What I appreciated most was how she enunciates how easy it is to use "they/them" pronouns for nonbinary people or how to respect people's preferred pronouns in general.
I. Love. It! Katee is a Queen, love her to death. She might honestly be my favourite smut author, she balances sex with plot that I get invested in the relationship.
But to be honest, this might be my least favorite book of this series. Don't get me wrong I loved all characters and the steam? These three did nothing but fuuuuuuucckkk!
BUT... but, I felt like both Zuri and Alaric had more connection to Ursa individually than they did with each other. It wasn't a very well balanced scale and I was thrown off by that honestly 🤷
Still, the next book is FF, buzzing to finally read about Aurora and Mal 😄 if you don't mind I'll be over here: dancing in sapphic, babbbyyyyyy
