Libbie Hawker (L.M. Ironside) Both times I worked in book stores this one always caught my eye due to the lovely title. But I read the book blurb and I seem to recall it said something about wolf-people, and I thought, "Probably not for me." However, if you liked it I will probably like it, too. I think I'll trot on down to the book store today and pick up a copy. I am plum out of books to read in my house and I'm starting to get bored.

Stephen Lavender...this book is terrific and really has two magor plot threads. The thread involving the "wolves" is really one of the more fascinating alien cultures I have come across in my SF reading. The wolves can link telepathically to great a gestalt personality that is different from the individual members (which are not intelligent enough on their own). the introduction of the aliens is a bit disorientating at first, but stick with it and the society is fascinating. Plus, as good as that plot thread was, it was my "least" favorite in the book which should indicate just how much I loved the rest of it.

Libbie Hawker (L.M. Ironside) Cool...I'll definitely start the book tonight. Thanks!
