When I first heard about this book I stayed away. It's hard for me to read about racism and I knew the premise of the book. But then I had a lull in my reading and I get a bit shaky if I don't have a book to read. It was on the best seller list and everyone was ranting and raving about it. So I figured what the hey, let me see what all the talk is about. This book was AMAZING!!!!! I was instantly hooked. I connected to the characters in a way I didn't imagine I would. I cried so hard that my kids were worried about me and it sucks to cry while you read because you can see the damn words!!

Definitely a MUST read!!!
