Let me start with this that "Rescue Me" is not for everyone, the push and pull is too much here; actually it lasts forever. And Matt is a real jerk who can win a cup for being an @sshole. He’s so stubborn, what I didn’t get was that why he was so adamant that he’s not gay or in general what was his problem with being gay. Matt was scarred physically and emotionally and still, I disliked him for what he did to James and his behavior toward not just James but also his friends. He had so much anger in him.
Told in dual POV, 3rd person, it’s a standalone novel. My first read by this author but definitely not my last. This book drained me emotionally. Overall, enjoyed it so much and hope you like it as well!
