Amazing story of Lady Charlotte Hastings, a disreputable debutante, and Maximilian Devereux, the Duke of Exmoor, a friend of Charlotte's brother who is determined to not get involved despite his attraction. Loved these characters!! Felt for Charlotte (with a little laugh to go along with it) and all the troubles she got into, and my heart broke for Max and his family story. Sexual progression was also well done, and believable. Highly recommend.
