To help her out, Max and Charlie become engaged. It is supposed to be just for appearances, but Charlie has loved Max for years. Can she convince him to make it one in truth?

Max feels duty bound to help out Charlie, because her brother is his best friend and he has known her for years. But spending so much time with Charlie makes him realize that what he feels for Charlie goes beyond friendship. When it seems that someone is out to ruin Charlie, Max does everything in his power to stop it.

Will this temporary engagement lead to something more permanent?

I adored Charlie and Max's story! I have been dying for Charlie's story since the beginning of the series and Bennett did NOT disappoint!! I just loved watching these two together and finally getting their HEA. Charlie was amazing, standing up to those that were trying to ruin her. I loved that!!

I loved this series and am sad that it is done. But I can't wait to see what Bennett comes up with next!
