How to Catch a Devilish Duke (The Disreputable Debutantes, #4)

Disreputable Debutante writes scandalous lists of things she MUST do, it is discovered, and titular duke helps her fulfill them. I know I've read this before--and recently--but it is a common trope in romance novels.
The characters likable, if a bit predictable. She is a hoyden, he has family trauma. She wants to marry for love, he is uncertain if he is capable of emotion. This last bit is not evident anywhere in his character as the Duke bent over backwards to make Charlotte happy.
The ending knocked a star off the rating. There was already enough drama in the relationship and the forces trying to pull them apart that the "twist" was unnecessary.
I'm also not a fan of epilogues, but them seem to be requisite in romances, so I'll get over it.
