Charlotte💃💋 can't seem to stay out of the gossip rag, the Beau Monde Mirror📰. The more she tries to fix it, the worse the gossip gets! When a baron steals her diary from her reticule at a ball, the gossip intensifies, as pages from it appear in the gossip paper! Every thing they print is a detrimental black mark on Her and is thinly veiled by printing her name as disreputable Lady C.

Men assume she is "easy", and several times she is accosted at balls. When the finger pointing salacious gossip appears in the Mirror from her diary, she realizes the Baron who took it has it out for her, trying to ruin her completely!

A fake betrothal👰 agreement between her and Max🐺🍆⛲💪🔪🔫 is supposed to calm the waters, but instead makes things even worse!

I really enjoyed this ADULT book, even though it has some ridiculous moments, such as when Charlotte💃💋 and Max🐺🍆⛲💪🔪🔫 break into the evil Baron's house and stand around conversing in normal voices and wasting time, while they are supposed to be looking for her diary in secret.
