This one was a little better than the first half. The ending made me smile at where they ended up so that's a plus. And like the first, I couldn't put it down so it at least held my attention.
There wasn't enough swoony, happy relationship between Emily and Jackson to bump this up more. The whole book is him not showing emotion, only stating his commitment to Emily. And she's insecure because he won't give her any feelings to work with. He can talk to Harper but she can't talk to Mark as a friend.
Then the whole Matt, Irene, and Harper drama. There wasn't any closure to either of those issues.
