For first-time users, there’s a bit of a learning curve, especially in navigating advanced features. The system can feel slow during large document uploads or when dealing with very high file sizes. "A good tool for storing contract documents"

What do you like best about Affinitext?

Affinitext provides an access controlled system to store important documents for my organisation. The documents are divided using an easy to navigate panel for quick access to the pieces of information I require. The system also has an easy to use search function if you are not sure where to find something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

The best aspect is it is a central repository for all documents which otherwise get saved in different places making it really hard to know the "current" docs vs superceded.

The search function, linked definitions and covenant reminders are also really good functions which again automate a key risk of contractual administration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

The main challenge is keeping documents updated given it it's not up to date or reliable then it really defeats the purpose. While this is largely the responsibility of the user (vs Affinitext) it is probably the key barrier to its full effectiveness.

I just went through a relatively material update of documents for the project I oversee and it was a very easy process. I was pleased with how it went. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be good to open word doc's within rather than downlaoding them and a small gui upgrade would be nice to show a all sites and whatever you click on is the site you are working with iff that makes sense. Sometimes having all fo them it gets in the way but i would still like both features there too Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Affinitext?

Easy to use.

You can navigate down to find the document structure

It uses links that will send you to the where used in the document of other documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinitext?

The Tool does not manage documents in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 10007.

There is no document number, revision that is traced in Affenitext to the original document.

There is a no Amendment History in a covering page to traced to a document see how many Amendment were implemented and the date they were Implememnted.

To see what was amended an A in a Red Box appears that you click on and show the Documents that authorised the changes.

The Query Function is poor as it searches for ever document in the tool.

There is no traceability to the number of paper copie produced and if the paper copies have been updated.

When a PDF is created, is does not create a exact copy of a documents. with version or amendment histoy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Affinitext solving and how is that benefiting you?

You can read what thre latest updated contract is.

It does not integrate with other tools to manage configuration baseline..

You cannot see what the current vesrion is from the original document.

You cannot manage change control effectively if you cannot see what the current version is of the contrat or the current Amendment No. is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there, Andre, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

I'd like to respond to a few of your concerns here, and will reach out separately to discuss. Conversion of your project's contracts replicates the documents in Intelligent Document Format - so if document and revision numbers are present in the original contracts when they are executed, they will be carried across in your library - but we do not generate these numbers for the contracts ourselves.

The search function works at the individual contract level, the folder level, project level, and portfolio level (should clients have multiple projects converted). We have API integration functionality also. I'd love to have the opportunity to run through your concerns on a quick call, as I'd like to hear more on your thoughts about the ISO standards you mention, and perhaps clarify how some of the other functionality works.
