What I like most about Aloha Cloud is its simplicity and reliability. The interface is very intuitive, which makes training new staff fast and painless. The way the systems works now off a Internet-based system is a great advantage. I no longer have to be at a dedicated station to work on problems. If I have a reliable computer, laptop or tablet, I can work off of that and assist my FOH employees even if I am home or away from the restaurant. My nightly reports are now more in-depth and can be customized to what I need and my financing and accounting departments want. Inventory and P-Mix can be better controlled. My resort runs off of a few different types of software and getting Aloha to talk to the other programs is still unreliable. There can Banquet and Event checks that do not sync over to the room's software. I do not know if that is a system problem or Aloha trying to get us to make their software exclusive to the resort. New employees need some time to learn everything on the next programs, but I assume that is normal.
