"Native android developpement IDE."
What do you like best about Android Studio?

Android Studio has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. If you are used to using Eclipse, you will have no trouble adapting to Android Studio and quickly realize that Android development is made more accessible. What also made it easier for me is that android studio has an emulator, which allows us to check that our interfaces are compatible with different Android devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Android Studio?

The emulator takes a long time to open and will generally slow down your computer; you need a powerful computer to use it. Sometimes the Gradle is incompatible after an update it takes more time to download and configure the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust IDE for Native Application Development"
What do you like best about Android Studio?

It makes developing native Android apps easy using Java and Kotlin. The Smart Completion feature is very beneficial in development. Can debug code using inline debugging very quickly. It is free to use and has a great UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Android Studio?

It is a heavy-weight program because it consumes too much RAM and storage. Some of the features are pretty buggy and have compilation issues with Kotlin. Other than that provides all the features an android developer need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This IDE performance is very good but it takes so much space in your machine and you need very good machine to use this IDE in effective manner.

The emulator which provide by android studio is very slow as compare to third party emulator, If you use you mobile phone for testing its works fast.

"Android app development made easy"
What do you like best about Android Studio?

It is very easy to develop android apps using android studio. There will be a emulator option where u can test everything as if we are using app in real mobile phone . We can select the specifications of the emulator like brand, android version. We can easily see the error logs and gives many suggestions for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Android Studio?

Need a higher specs system for smooth performance. Otherwise system will get heated and will become slow. There are too many features which sometimes makes it difficult to find the important ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"IDE for Mobile application Development"
What do you like best about Android Studio?

Android studio is one of the best platforms for mobile application development. It supports two programming languages, Java and Kotlin only. I like that it provides a user-friendly interface that is easy to use and includes features of both virtual and physical emulators. The best thing about it is it is free to use IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Android Studio?

Android studio takes a lot of space in memory to run. You can't run emulators if you have less ram in your machine. As it provides lots of features, there is still a buggy feature. Apart from that, it is the best software for mobile application development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
