Explorer has nearly limitless possibilities for reporting and built in functionality. The different modules ( project management, payroll, analytics) work really well together and can provide some valuable information. Dashboard provide information quickly and can be shared with co-workers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are so many ways to set up payroll items and project management that it can easily become overwhelming. I have yet to be able to set up anything payroll related on my own. I regularly have to schedule a training session. The training staff are excellent, and very informed, it would just be nice to have a standard set up so that the instructions on the Explorer University online guides were more helpful. Explorer Eclipse is tailored specifically for construction, which makes it far more relevant than generic accounting or ERP systems. The job costing functionality is solid, and once properly configured, it gives you great control and visibility over projects. The integration between cost codes, GL, and job reports helps streamline workflows. Support is generally responsive and knowledgeable, which is important when dealing with industry-specific needs. I've been using Explorer Eclipse for a couple of years now, and I’m consistently impressed by its robust financial reporting capabilities. It has truly elevated our ability to monitor and analyze project profitability with precision. The user-friendly interface has also been a major advantage—team members at all levels are able to navigate the system with ease, resulting in smoother workflows and more efficient collaboration across departments." What I like best about Explorer Eclipse is its intuitive interface and flexibility. It makes navigating complex tasks feel simple, and it’s clear that the platform was designed with the user in mind. Uploading multiple timecards from an excel spreadsheet is very easy once you have the template set up and the auto-processing of timecards is a game changer! Also the ability to code every hour to employee, jobs, equipment and trucks keeps everything very organized when running reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When a problem does occur, there is no one to actually call - you need to submit a ticket online. When the problem is urgent I do receive replies at a reasonable timeframe but when they are not, sometimes coming to a solution can take a while.

Weird, spontaneous errors that happen within the billing system. We have put several tickets in for it to be resolved. Eclipse did resolve our issues eventually, but they will keep happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how integrated this system is. The way it connects many of our departments from, our Accounting team with our Project Managers, Purchasing Manager, we are able to share key information quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to toggle around and to upload documents. Implementation seems fairly. Customer support seems fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can not doing anything in mass. Creating a PO is time consuming, even for the most simple PO's. You aren't able to copy a PO, so each individual PO has to be created from scratch. It seems to lag a lot when there are multiple users on. There are lots of features, but again they are not easily managed and difficult to find at times. Integration is difficult also.
