The support and development teams are very responsive to suggestions and development improvements are currently proceeding at a good pace.

The software was easy to implement with good documentation. I use the software every month for producing client management accounts from Xero and every 1/2 year for producing consolidated management accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is currently no forecasting capability within Joiin. The presentation capabilities with regards to branding are currently not fully there with regards to customising cover sheets.

The automatic adjustments with regards to currency translation differences need to be filtered to enable the report to look more presentable.

A user since 2018. Impressed with their willingness to improve their offering, and have watched their journey thus far. Joiin has saved me hours in my month-end consolidation process from Xero. Features versatile reporting options including budget and periodical comparisons, consolidated accounts payable/receivable reports and drill down to GL transactions. It also breaks reports down to Xero tracking options, which is a great feature. Very excited for their next chapter incorporating AI, Dashboards & personlized report packs to lift the professionalism of my month-end reporting. We use it extensively because we have a holding company that 100% owns our trading company, meaning two sets of books. Joiin lets us do consolidated reporting and split reporting for the board and for shareholders. We previously had to do it in spreadsheets and it took forever to report. The ease of setup, seamless integration with Xero, and the ability to customise reports have saved us countless hours each month. Overall, nothing major, but room for more polished features would make it even better, such as further customising branded reports, drawing a vertical line separator between company #1 numbers, company #2 numbers, total numbers to improve readability etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Joiin literally does all the hard (and medium!) work for you - it almost literally could not be easier and more intuitive to use. it integrates immediately and seamlessly - you can even log into it using your ERP credentials (I use my Xero login). Its functionality in terms of customisation of consolidations and reporting is incredibly powerful. I am working in a business that has just 2 entities, but they are very different and so using Joiin is invaluable... in previous lives I had more than 10 entities so Joiin would have saved hundreds or even thousands of hours, so I wish i had known about it sooner!

There are a couple of minor quirks - for example, when I design a custom report (e.g. a P&L) and save it for use in a management report, it works fine - but if I then go back into the report and use it on an ad hoc basis for other purposes, it does not always revert to the original layout and settings as used in the management report. I plan to raise this with Joiin (and no doubt they will fix / amend the functionality in short order.

Joiin is user friendly, super effective, saves time and effort and is exactly the product we were looking for. Seamless links to our source financial programs like Xero and QuickBooks make it a simple exercise to bring this all together from monthly management information packs. The flexibility of Joiin also means we can amend reports to the layouts we specifically use so this can match our financial modelling perfectly.

initial setup is simple and we were ready to go within 10 minutes which compared to our previous consolidation processes saved literally , hours. It integrates with all of the main apps within minutes.

The customer service team are quick, very responsive and able to to assist with any issues so it is great to know you have this in the background.

We use joiin every month and it forms the biggest part of our Monthly MI reporting now. The choice of time periods, data presentation and options for the reports mean we can always find a solution and a suitable report style to show KPIs, P&L, BS and Cashflow as we need to. Really had to think long and hard about dislikes and rather than a dislike I think, one are for improvement would be around the budgeting features and in particular the inclusion of revised forecasting or flexed budgets would take it to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I primarily use JOIIN to consolidate accounting data from Xero, but its reporting functionality is truly impressive. It gives me a single platform to view information across all our companies, which is especially useful when preparing high-level commentary while still being able to drill down into the underlying details — all the way down to individual transactions. JOIIN does a great job of eliminating intercompany transactions. However, I have a specific use case where it would be extremely helpful to make a manual adjustment. In this case, during consolidation, I need to remove a transaction from only one company—not both sides. Links easily to Xero to enable me to produce consolidated accounts for 2 companies within our group. I am still learning how to create our reports based on the basic templates. The AI function looks good and I have managed to produce a draft set of management accounts for approval with our directors. The presentation of the reports could do with formatting so that the results are clearer to read ie. column/row lines.

Sometimes refreshing the Xero link takes a while.

I can see multiple companies' results simultaneously, translated at custom FX rates. This makes reviewing things like variances to budget much quicker. At the core, the ability to map and consolidate multiple company accounts - from different platforms - is brilliant. I have two companies on Xero and one that I need to upload manually. Joiin saves me a ton of effort and once I get the reporting deck where I want it, producing future updated versions is almost automatic. I really like the platform. It can be a bit cumbersome at times to get things set up and working as you want to - a few too many mouse clicks and repetitive actions here and there.
