"System is easy to configure and add on."
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

The system is designed to be highly adaptable, allowing customization to align with your existing workflows and operational requirements. Many data fields are configurable, enabling efficient data mining and analysis. Custom report generation is intuitive, facilitating streamlined data processing and decision-making. The catalog features robust search functionality and a user-friendly checkout process. Additionally, it supports detailed item descriptions and imagery, enhancing clarity and usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

The system currently lacks functionality for direct, one-to-one communication with suppliers. Enhancing the platform to support supplier interactions—such as order confirmations, backorder notifications, and shipment tracking updates—would significantly improve transparency, operational efficiency, and overall supply chain coordination. "Good Product but could be better"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

I've spent some time working with ServiceNow's source-to-pay setup, and honestly, my experience has been a bit of a mixed bag. I’d rate it a solid 7 out of 10. The platform offers a lot of power and flexibility, but, as with any complex software, it comes with its own set of quirks. What stands out to me is how it consolidates everything—having sourcing, vendor management, and payments all in one place is incredibly convenient. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate. The automation features are especially helpful; being able to set up processes to run automatically has saved me a significant amount of manual effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

As for the less impressive aspects, getting everything set up and tailored to your specific requirements can be quite challenging. The learning curve turned out to be much steeper than I anticipated, and it takes a significant amount of time to configure everything just right. I've also experienced some sluggishness, particularly when generating large reports or handling substantial amounts of data. While this isn't a deal-breaker, it can definitely be frustrating if you're pressed for time. Overall, ServiceNow's Source to Pay is a strong tool that brings together many essential business functions. It does an excellent job of streamlining processes and offers some truly powerful features. It’s definitely a valuable asset, but be prepared for some initial setup challenges and occasional minor performance issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Procurement and Vendor Management with ServiceNow"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

What I like most about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations is its ability to centralize procurement, supplier, and payment processes into a single, user-friendly platform. The system provides clear visibility into purchase requests, approvals, and vendor interactions, which makes managing large-scale procurement operations much easier. The automation of repetitive tasks, real-time analytics, and integration with existing ERP/finance tools save considerable time and reduce manual errors. The flexibility to customize workflows and dashboards according to business needs has also been highly valuable. Overall, it enhances transparency and accountability across departments while making collaboration with vendors smoother Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

While ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations is powerful, there are areas that could be improved. The initial setup and implementation can be complex and time-consuming, especially for organizations with less technical expertise. Some modules require significant customization to fully align with business processes, which can increase costs. The user interface, though functional, can feel overwhelming for new users due to the number of features and navigation layers. Additionally, reporting customization sometimes requires technical knowledge that not all teams possess. Finally, licensing costs may be high for smaller organizations, which could limit accessibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined procurement and vendor management in one place"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

ServiceNow Source-to-Pay makes procurement workflows more efficient by centralizing supplier onboarding, purchase requisitions, and approvals in one platform. I like that it integrates easily with existing ERP systems, improves compliance through automated approvals, and provides full visibility into supplier performance. The dashboards and reporting tools also make it easier to monitor spending and identify optimization opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

While powerful, the platform can feel complex for new users, especially without proper training. Some workflows require significant customization to align with business needs, which increases implementation time and cost. The user interface, although functional, could be more intuitive, and certain reporting features feel limited compared to standalone analytics tools. Additionally, system updates occasionally impact existing configurations, requiring extra testing and adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very promising platform that still needs some enhancements"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

What I find most useful in the platform is it's configurability. We try to stick to OOTB solutions as much as possible, however complexity of out processes and focus on UX requires also some configuration and customization which this platform allows. Our frequent users find the platform easy to navigate but would expect more possibilities to adapt the view to their personal needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

Sometimes the platform doesn't reflect the complexity of big organizations and offered features do not fit to reality. We also struggle with reporting piece as we expect dynamic dashboard with filtering options, where reports are linked to each other and data shown is dependent on the selections in other reports. Its complexity and cost. The initial setup can be challenging and expensive, and a heavy reliance on customization can make ongoing maintenance difficult, especially when integrating with existing legacy systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Products"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

What I like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations is how it centralizes and automates the entire procurement lifecycle—from supplier onboarding to contract management and invoice processing—within a single platform. It improves visibility, compliance, and collaboration between procurement, finance, and vendors. The ability to use workflows and AI-driven insights to reduce manual tasks and accelerate approvals makes the process far more efficient and scalable. It helps organizations achieve better cost control, data accuracy, and supplier relationship management—all of which are critical for driving business value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

While ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations offers robust automation and workflow capabilities, one challenge is the initial configuration and customization—it can be complex and time-consuming, especially for organizations without a strong internal ServiceNow team. Additionally, integrating with legacy ERP or procurement systems sometimes requires additional effort or third-party tools. That said, once implemented properly, the long-term benefits outweigh the initial setup hurdles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Because it is good automation platform for large scale industries"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

I really like how ServiceNow’s Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations streamline the whole procurement process—it’s like having everything from sourcing to payments in one place, which saves a ton of time and cuts down on errors. The automation and real-time supplier tracking are super slick for big teams, though I’ll admit the price tag and learning curve can be a bit intimidating for smaller setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

I’m not a huge fan of how pricey ServiceNow’s Source-to-Pay (S2P) can get—those implementation and subscription costs can really sting, especially for smaller businesses. Also, the platform feels a bit clunky sometimes with a steep learning curve and occasional slow load times, which can be frustrating for users who just want something quick and simple. What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

Here are 2 key areas of improvement for the Source to Pay application

1. The current supplier interface lacks modern UX/UI design and advanced self capabilities, requiring better mobile responsiveness, intuitive navigation, and comprehensive supplier onboarding workflows to match industry-leading procurement platform.

2. While basic contract functionality exists, the platform needs deeper contract analytics . AI- powered clauses extraction , automated renewal managements and more sophisticated risk assessment tools to compete with specialised CLM solutions in complex enterprise environment. "Helpful for vendor and procurement visibility"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

I like that it keeps all vendor and procurement information in one place. Even though I mainly work as an Incident Manager, I sometimes need supplier or contract details during escalations, and having this connected in ServiceNow makes my work faster. It’s easy to see purchase orders, approvals, and vendor performance data without chasing different teams. This saves time in real scenarios, for example when an outage is linked to a vendor, I can quickly pull up the supplier information and check the SLA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations?

It can feel a bit complex if you are not from procurement or finance. Some menus are not very intuitive, and you need training before you can use all the features. Reports are powerful but sometimes difficult to customize without help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
