I tried using Simply Poll on Slack since we do a lot of things there, and I thought the integration was awesome. Creating a poll within an active channel allows for a lot more feedback. It has a significantly higher response rate than sending an email or asking people to fill out a form on a link. It was easy to turn on in Slack as they have lots of prebuilt integrations. It was a little clunky, and this miggt have just been a user experience. Because I was unable to make it work within the first few minutes of trying, hoping it was a quick fix, I realized I would need to dedicate more time and energy into it, which I did not have. I really enjoy the way that the app streamlines the process of asking a large group for their opinions or responses to a closed form answer. I can also edit many of the responses to include features like anonymity.
