What I value most about Teradata Vantage is its ability to efficiently process large volumes of data, its scalable architecture, and its seamless integration with visualization and development tools. Additionally, the specialized technical support has been key to the success of the implementation. The ability to perform complex analyses directly on the data warehouse without needing to move the data, compatibility with languages like SQL, Python, and R, and the ease of consolidating multiple sources of information into a single platform. What do you dislike about Teradata Vantage?

Some administrative interfaces could be more intuitive for non-technical users. It would also be useful to have more localized documentation and examples adapted to the Latin American context. What do you like best about Teradata Vantage?

Teradata handles complex queries on massive datasets without performance issues. What problems is Teradata Vantage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Teradata plays a key role in supporting our anti money laundering efforts by powering the ETL pipelines behind our risk alert system. We use it to process large volumes of transactional data, generate financial indicators, and apply complex business rules to detect suspicious patterns across both national and international operations. Its ability to handle heavy joins, aggregations, and inflation adjustments via Python integration at scale, ensures that our risk matrices are both timely and reliable. Teradata vantage serves as the centralized data and analytics platform within the bank's data ecosystem. It integrates customer, transactional, operational, and regulatory data from various internal and external source system into a unified data store, enabling the bank to drive insights, compliance and decision making.
