The main thing that I like about Microsoft Power BI is that how intuitive and powerful it is for turning raw data into meaningful insights with the visuals Power BI provide. Even if a person is new or not expert in Power BI, the drag and drop feature interface make it easy to create insightful dashboards with the help of bulit-in visuals.
The way of connecting to wide range of data sources like Excel, Cloud Services like Azure and Google Analytics, SQL Databases. I use it daily to track the KPIs and generate reports from the insights.
When we think about the setup of Power BI, the process is too easy. By all the tutorials and community support the leaning will be smooth and wasn't to steep.
Once you are familiar with the tool and the DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) creating dashboards becomes our daily hobby.
I also love the way that Power BI integrates with other Microsoft tools like Excel, Teams.
This is a solid tool for data analysis and visualization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Microsoft Power BI is a great tool, there are few things that could be better.
The performance of Power BI gets slow down while dealing with large datasets and complex DAX calculations. For some new users the UI feels clumsy or feels a bit cluttered at times. At some times you feel like, the basic visuals are licensed and not built-in visuals. Usually have rely on custom visuals from the marketplace. And the last thing is that licensing for PREMIUM and PRO versions feels confusing at first.
Overall, it's a solid platform, but there is definitely a room for improvement in visuals and usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
