"Simple assessment platform with smooth candidate experience"
What do you like best about Woven?

Woven is straightforward to use with a clean and intuitive interface, which made my assessment experience smooth and stress-free. The ease of implementation stood out since everything ran directly in the browser without extra setup, making it simple to get started. Their customer support was responsive, with clear instructions and timely emails that guided me through the process. While I only used it once for my own assessment, I can see how it would be valuable for frequent use in hiring pipelines. The platform has the core features needed to assess real-world skills and integrates seamlessly into the company's hiring workflow, so I never had to juggle multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

Some of the assessment questions felt a bit generic, and the platform doesn't have as many advanced features as larger assessment tools. Also, integration with other tools could be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Inclusive Tech Assessment Experience"
What do you like best about Woven?

I took a Woven assessment as part of a job interview and had a great experience. I like Woven's inclusive and innovative approach. It goes beyond traditional live coding and instead presents an environment that reflects how tech professionals actually work. It allowed me to research syntax and draw inspiration from community-driven solutions--just like I would in a real analyst role. The customer service is also amazing because they personally reach out to you and answer your questions. The team also provided excellent resources to prepare--both technically and in terms of getting comfortable with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I had some quirks to work through as I moved my code from my preferred tool to the assessment tool. In my case, I didn't catch the differences in capitalization of column titles when importing csv into my Jupyter notebook versus the Woven platform. That made ease of use a bit difficult. "The perfect real-world simulation of software engineering work"
What do you like best about Woven?

I really appreciated the concept and the thoughtful structure of the assessment. The prep guide and the instructions given in advance helped me set my expectations and prepare effectively. This approach encouraged me to concentrate on developing my skills rather than simply memorizing solutions to specific problems.

The scenarios were also great real-world simulations rather than abstract puzzles that online assessments often use to have.

I would like to give more assessments like this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

The coding environment did not feel as seamless as I would expect from an assessment platform. Additionally, the tests seemed to run somewhat slowly.

Customer Support didn't reply to the mails I have been making regarding clarifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One modern approach that really evaluates candidates"
What do you like best about Woven?

It was easy to use. I completed the test in two steps. The first step was a system design exercise, which really surprised me! It was the first time I had seen that, and I found it very clever. It was also really well implemented. I also received an email from customer support, which was helpful in explaining how to use the tool. It was the first time I used it, and I hope to use it with higher frequency! It was also easy to integrate with the company I was applying for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I also loved the coding exercise, the second step of the selection process. I think the scope of the test could be a bit smaller—but not much. It would still be a very effective selection tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-World Coding Assessment with Constructive Feedback, Slightly Rushed Tasks"
What do you like best about Woven?

I really like that Woven focuses on real-world engineering scenarios instead of tricky algorithm puzzles. The assessment felt like an actual day on the job — debugging issues, integrating APIs, and improving code quality. It tested my practical problem-solving skills in a fair and professional way. The feedback at the end was detailed and constructive, which helped me understand my strengths and where I could improve. Overall, it felt like a genuine evaluation of how developers work in real projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

There wasn’t much to dislike, but I did find that some tasks felt a bit time-constrained — especially when trying to write clean, production-quality code while also debugging. It would be great if Woven provided a short practice round or preview so candidates can get familiar with the environment before starting. Aside from that, the experience was smooth and well-organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Absolutely Love This Product!"
What do you like best about Woven?

I appreciate that the tasks given to assess candidates are well-designed and based on real-time scenarios. I also like how the platform emphasizes building and production situations, which makes the experience more practical. Additionally, the platform is reliable, offering web previews that clearly show how the code functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

The builds and installation of dependencies can be somewhat slow, and at times the web interface does not respond well. However, I really appreciate the dark mode and find the failure messages helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Woven Makes Job Applications Effortless and Reliable"
What do you like best about Woven?

I like Woven because it makes submitting applications painless and predictable — my resume and materials arrive exactly as I intended, without weird formatting or missing metadata. That reliability saves time for me and for hiring teams like Digital Harbor, and it makes follow-ups and clarifications straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I don’t like that once an application is submitted it can feel a bit opaque — limited visibility into status and few options to update or tweak materials if something needs fixing. The notifications are often generic and impersonal, which makes it harder to know whether a hiring team like Digital Harbor actually reviewed my files or needs clarification. The platform’s strict file rules can also be frustrating when you just need to attach a slightly different version of a document. Overall it’s reliable for delivery, but the post-submit flexibility and personalized communication could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless technical assessment platform with great candidate experience"
What do you like best about Woven?

Woven offers a very smooth and realistic technical assessment experience that feels close to real-world DevOps and software engineering tasks. The platform provides clear problem statements, helpful context, and an intuitive interface that keeps everything organized from coding to scenario based questions. I also like how the assignments test both coding and critical thinking, not just syntax or the algorithms. The review feedback process is transparent, and the interface runs efficiently without lags or the crashes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

The main aspect that could use improvement is the clarity of instructions in some of the more advanced assessments. Occasionally, candidates may benefit from having extra examples or more validation options before submitting their answers. Additionally, incorporating automatic feedback or partial test scoring during practice sessions would further enhance the overall experience. Other than these points, I find everything else from the user interface to the design of the questions excellent and highly realistic for assessing professional skills. "Woven, a solid and consistent experience to help find developers"
What do you like best about Woven?

We enjoy the simplicity of the topic content of the programming challenges because it's not so industry specific that it acts as a blocker for new candidates. We have found that candidates are able to quickly understand the business context of the question and get to programming. We also like the fact that this is an easy tool for our development team to implement and use to evaluate talent. Keeping it simple is best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

We would like to see additional types of topics asked to get into some other legacy product types. Things like WCF, WebForms, Microsoft SQL Server, etc. are a few areas that could use some help. We say that because not all code out there is the shinny new Angular/React/Vue.js code and we still need developers with a wide range of skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, well-structured assessment experience"
What do you like best about Woven?

Woven’s scenarios felt realistic and relevant to the job. The tasks were thoughtfully designed to evaluate actual problem-solving and communication skills rather than memorization or test tricks. I appreciated the detailed, actionable feedback after the assessment was reviewed, and the opportunity to see how my work compared to other candidates. The platform was stable, intuitive, and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

There is not much to dislike, really. The time limits can feel tight, but they effectively simulate real-world pressure and prioritization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
