Previously On

This was the best episode yet of WandaVision, it was so emotional, so well directed, so well written, it answered some questions, everything is leading for the last episode to be even better, I can't wait for next week.

Not ashamed to admit I ugly cried during a certain part in this episode. Wanda and Vision have always been my favorite couple in the MCU, and a refreshing dose of romance and heartbreak in infinity wars. This episode dives into the despair Wanda has felt over Vision and really her entire life thus far. She's been through so much loss at this point there's almost the justification that she deserves some sort of happiness. Elizabeth Olsen has such a commanding emotional core to Wanda it's almost impossible to not have your heart break along with hers.

I don't know how they continue to make incredible episodes week after week that surpass previous ones, but somehow they do. This episode was a deep character study that also served to push the plot forward. The origins of Agatha, Wanda and even the Hex are finally explained. It helped us understand Wanda with the constant sitcom theme throughout her whole life always being alongside her heartbreaking loss. This episode was a joy to watch and Agatha makes such a good villain. Can't wait for the finale!

Episode 8 was better than episode 5, and I tought it wasn't possible. Fantastic writing and scenography, CGI really really good, better than some movies. I hope episode 9 gives us the same emotional impact as this episode

This. Episode. IS TOO DAMN GOOD. It is actually the best MCU based thing I have seen. I know I might be speaking in bit of a hyperbole, but I always preferred character-oriented stories rather than CGI explosion fest. As we dived deeper and deeper into Wanda's psyche and trauma throughout the runtime it also presents an important lesson as to how "Grief is just love persevering".

Also that end reveal. I did not expect them to pay homage to the comics to this degree but a welcome surprise! THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE AN AMAZING CHARACTER who happens to be a "female" BTW. Take notes big studios.
