Peter is terrible at inconspicuously following people.
At the very beginning of the episode, they (Peter and his fellow agent) notice that the suspicious person they're tailing may believe that he's being followed, so they say "let's give him some space". In the very next scene, they're following him in the open, at most 5-10 metres behind, not even pretending to do anything else.
When a person he's following stops at any point, Peter's tactic is to also suddenly stop, and then just turn slightly to the side and essentially do nothing, no attempt to appear natural.
At the end of the episode, Peter is following a target under a bridge at night, barely using his plentiful useful surroundings to hide himself, mostly walking briskly in the single light that could alert the suspect to his presence. At least he was maybe 15 metres back this time. An improvement I guess. Shockingly, he is noticed, and the suspect flees.
I get that it's probably due to camera blocking purposes, but it still made me yell at the TV.
Otherwise, it's much of the same as season 1. Entertaining, silly, poorly written but enjoyable all the same.

Season 1 was not bad, decent plot and action, okay characters, not great acting.
Season 2 episode 1 is decent plot and action, unlikeable characters, and really, really terrible acting. Like really bad. It's like the actors are reciting lines they had just memorized. You can pretty much hear where the script says "pause to be cut off/interrupted" and it is so, so cringe. There's no feeling of dialogue, they're just reciting lines at each other. Reference the scene towards the end of the episode with the President talking about fInDinG PeTeR if you want to see what I mean.
The Night Action handler lady is also a very lamentable addition to the show, as she is very, very unlikeably written. Her character's premise is basically "I don't like the main character and I am right not to"? The actress has also so far had 1 facial expression through 10-15 minutes of screen time, and it's a perpetual scowl. Maybe there's some redemption for how unlikeable she is later in the season but I'm honestly not going to stick around to find out.
Disappointing.

If you pardon the pun ofcourse. This series has been so far very Entertaining and the connective tissue between stories isn't a familiar trait as you might expect, so to see the story pull it off was somewhat of a surprise. The story does have some rushed storybeats but remains fluid In it's pacing and breathes air to the series. Season 2 does it differently with how it starts, giving us that sense of danger and intensity right at the start and it's prolific with it. The story has that energy and that burst that makes it fun and very on-edge.
The story had lots of fun action-sequences and seeing both of our Characters split apart created a more tension based drama that interconnected 2 stories into a singular episode and it's pulled off rather well, Pete and Rose both have interesting storylines, Pete is In Bangkok pretending to be someone else and tries investigating a mystery. And Rose is company is trying to go further and bigger, both trying to Complete different things.
I liked this section because both of them could re-unite and that means we get a good moment, They didn't try as hard to find Pete, but this first story does seem to have less flaws on it's bingo cards as it doesn't seem that apparent here. But it was still pointed out, however Rose finding him meant that it was a good moment and filled the time of friendship well, although rushed I think the moment perfectly capitulated their friendship.
The story was fun and fresh which made it interesting because the action was great as it had lots of moments of fast paced adrenaline fueled moments, and had lots of rushed gun-shots that seemed hard-hitting and created more of that danger and awearness. I also Liked the fact the separate stories then connected into one wild goose chase.
I rate it an 8 Because the Characters are well-explored and written, the storyline was superbly done, and it was simply very Entertaining.

The first and second episode was a tell tale sign of what is coming. There is no way that there is no discussion about how Rose led them to him Peter. And of cause the premise had to be set where she was told that she is not part of the spy world not family and do not know how it works. It was predictable. I mean by now she should be aware of the spy world. If it is action you are after by all means but if you are looking for the same intrigue of the first season you can give this a miss. The chemistry between Rose and Peter somehow got lost or stayed in season one. I was excited for this season but got defeated in episode 2.
I was looking forward to the new season, but Peter doesn't seem to have grown at all from last season. He runs weird as well (not sure if I noticed that last season) and the action isn't very well done.
I think bringing Rose into the show with her access with her new platform is ok. However, thinking that the government doesn't already have something similar is a bit naive.
I'm not sure why my review needs to be 600 words, but overall the episode wasn't very good. The storyline seems to be a bit of a rehash of last season (possible traitor.) I'm hopeful for the rest of the season, but this episode doesn't make me think it's going to be great.

- ErroresWhen Peter is waiting for Warren Stocker to appear (at about 9.00 p.m., as arranged earlier), his watch shows '9:06' but it is clearly set to 24 h display, not a.m./p.m., so it should have shown '21:06'.
