Dan Rogers(I)

Dan Rogers was born and grew up on a farm south of Byron, Wyoming. He
attended Northwest Community College, Rocky Mountain College, and
received his Master of Theatre Arts degree from Minnesota State
University - Mankato in 1975. Dan worked as actor and director for
Shakespeare in the Parks at Montana State University and was Artistic
director of Fort Peck Summer Theatre before moving to Los Angeles in
1977. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Screen Actor's Guild for seven
years; playing in a variety of feature films, made for television
movies and regional and national commercials. Dan's favorite acting
moments were working with Jimmy Stuart and Tuesday Weld. In 1987 he
took a teaching position at Webster Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St.
Louis, Missouri. In 1992 Dan moved to Bismarck North Dakota as
Associate Professor of Theatre at Bismarck State College. He has taught
a variety of theatre classes and directed over 40 productions. Dan
continues to act with the Capitol Shakespeare Theatre company and is
vice president of the board.
