2023 brought more background acting, a few music videos, and a role in a film still in production, titled Cannibal Mukbang. I continue to be featured in background roles, but I am trying to focus more on speaking roles. Once again I'll probably take a summer job with the
government, but projects are lining up for late summer and fall. Hopefully I will do some small roles this summer when I can get the time.
Of course, I am trying to work in the film industry 100 percent, not 50 percent. I audition almost daily and distance from a shoot location
is usually the main reason I don't get cast, but I pull myself up and put myself in the race again. I have a role in Phoenix in June and I
have other roles later in the year.
2022 ended with speaking role for In the Glow of Darkness, a voiceover, role in a music video, and a scattering of background roles and
featured roles.
In 2021 a role in a music video in Atlanta, then a short film in Savannah, GA for students at SCAD, and then a short film in New Orleans,
LA for students at New Orleans University. Hell's Bells was released where I am a creepy janitor, and I performed a role as a guru in
Planet Heaven, which is showing in various location on the west coast presently. The later 2 are both Indie films and one was in
Tallahassee, FL and the other in Los Angeles, CA.
I have a few acting classes in Los Angeles and on in college over 20 years ago and a couple in Gulfport, MS a couple year ago. Then
Covid and I returned to background acting. I have done extra acting since 1987 in Los Angeles, CA, then in St. Louis, MO, followed by
5 years working mostly in New Orleans, LA and Atlanta, GA. However, I have also did extra/background acting in Dallas, TX area,
Lafayette, LA/Baton Rouge, LA area, Birmingham, AL, Biloxi and Gulfport, MS, And Savannah, GA. I worked background full-time
and more for nearly 6 years. I spent a lot of time on the road between Atlanta and New Orleans. Between auditions and background
acting, I put in a lot of hours.
I have been a stand-Union the Act and cast to be in Gloria's as a protester in January. Aside being featured as a drunk guy, I have also
been a dead guy at a bar, crazy man in a psych ward, and a lot more. I used to have a big beard and very long hair. That got me featured
often. I've even been a clown. When I first started, I was younger and thinner, and I got a lot of clean-cut roles. Now, I am working on
losing weight and getting into better shape again.
I was also in a photo shoot in northern Mississippi for K.K. Wooten.
I am from Missouri where I grew up working many farms. I have been in the Army. I am used to traveling with this work, the military,
laboratory, archaeology, farming, driving trucks and equipment, office, love being around animals, I can ride a horse; though it's been a
long time, scooter, and bicycle.
I have helped build theater sets for summer Repertory Theater at the University of Missouri, 1988. Loved it! In acting I tend to like
Improv acting when I did it a long time ago and I used to be good at accents, but I need to work on both again.
