The first half of this movie required a little help from the accelerator button however once it got past the half way point and the killing started a lot of the weak character development didn't matter. The low score comes mostly from its very amateur over acting and annoying soundtrack which was over used and killed any chance of the movie developing any ambience. The story was complete junk not that it mattered, the ending was too unexplained anyhow.
I enjoy the "80s horror love letter" style. I have liked some of the actors in other films. I could not get into this one. Most of the characters are completely unlikeable from the start, and some even get worse from there. After the first kill took out the two normal seeming characters and the prettiest girl who am I supposed to be rooting for to survive here when they all seem so bad? And what even was that last scene? The viewer is left to fill in a lot of gaps that could have been filled by a good script and solid storytelling.

The murders were bad, the acting was bad, the amount of arms being cut off was bad 😂
Honestly I watched it to the end and even at the end I wondered what the hell just happened. It's up there in the low budget worst movies I've ever watched list that's for sure, sorry indie movie lovers.
I don't hate budget films, but from the way this movie was shot from the start I had a bad feeling.
By far the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. It looked like a C- high school project.

Bride to be Brie and her sexy friends go to a log cabin in the woods (as you would for a slasher movie) for her bachelorette (or as we say in England, hen) party. Unfortunately they are joined by her vile and pathetic fiance Dolph and his dumb buddies, the party is cut short by a very obvious local nut slashing and dicing the revellers. We have to endure a long 36 minutes of bad acting before the first kill though the girls are easy on the eye. The kills are plentiful and gory but the effects are very cheap looking (as is everything else here). Several hours after the first three deaths nobody notices the victims' absence at an evening party! On the sex front we do get some girl on girl action in the shower with some surgically enhanced full frontal nudity. Dolph is an incredibly obnoxious man, if that was actor Andrew Brown's intention then he did a good job. I forgot how the film ended so I had to watch the end again the next day, I shouldn't have bothered, it's pathetic. I love slasher movies, even bad ones, but this was simply awful. Best line of the movie, "He's dressed like Jason Myers"

Re-creating that 80's slasher vibe is mostly well done. The acting isn't as bad as it could be. As a modern film, its not that great. If you like 80's slasher flicks then this might be worth it if you have time to kill. Otherwise probably best save your time for something a little less rubbish.

Plot was bad, acting was bad. The characters were not likelable, maybe just because they were so monotone that you couldn't buy them as real people. They were one dimensional. No depth, all surface and it showed in the acting that there development was not good. You could tell the only thing they did was memorize lines. Save yourself the time and don't watch this. It's just bad. And not even so bad it's funny. No. It's just bad.

Not a bad movie considering the budget. You can tell it's low budget but it's an entertaining one for the most part. I watched it all the way through. Acting is hit or miss but not really distracting.

But certainly not the best. Brie is having second thought about marrying her horrible fiancé, Dolph; her therapist (Ginger Lynn!) helps her work through things. Brie, Dolph, and their friends head to a cabin at Lake Tahoe for a coed bachelor/bachelorette party - and things quickly go downhill for the attendees.
Slashlorette Party does have a few things going for it. Scantily clad women and naked strippers are at the party, so there's plenty of T&A for the fellas. Female viewers don't have as much eye candy, but the replacement male stripper amused me. There's also a decent amount of blood on display, and one of the naked strippers falls victim to a somewhat inventive twist on a typical machete kill. It's also only 79 minutes long, and I really appreciate the brevity.
Of course, there are many weaknesses too. The acting is weak and the story isn't great at all. Dolph is absolutely horrible, but no characters are all that likeable, so it's a tough sell to care about them. Some of the gore effects look a little cheesy, but at least there were on-camera kills instead of cutaways.
Is Slashlorette Party a good movie? No.
Are its limited strengths enough to recommend it? Not really.
Is it an adequate time killer if you're in the mood for a slasher flick and not in the mood to care about quality? Sure.

I'm a big fan of Paul Ragsdale and Angie De Alba's previous effort, Streets of Vengeance. Paul, Angie and their crew really know how to stretch a dollar and deliver the goods. In Slashlorette Party, they have upped their technical game. This is well-lit and well-shot. Everyone does a good job in their roles, and it is cool to see A&P Productions favorite Ginger Lynn Allen doing a fine job in another serious role. This movie is a love letter to 80s slashers but there are definitely some surprises in how they've updated the storyline to buck against some of the classic tropes. There are some really fun and effective gore pieces, so the gorehounds will be pleased. This is a very entertaining film with a few moments of real humor. The most original ideas in cinema right now are coming from the Underground Film scene and this crew continues to demonstrate that they are leaders in the field.
A bride-to-be who's having serious doubts about getting married to her rude fiance goes for a weekend party in the woods with her fiance and their friends and two psychotic men stalk and kill them one by one.
The quality of acting in this ranges from surprisingly solid to painfully awful, but the script has a sense of humor about everything and at least attempts to tell an actual story instead of a by-the-numbers body count flick. Adult film star, Ginger Lynn Allen, gets a great chance to show off some pretty entertaining acting chops at the lead character's psychiatrist. It's not the most memorable slasher film you'll see, but far from a complete waste of time either.

Congratulations to the film-makers for taking the name of a horror genre and turning it into a pun. Sadly, that's about the high-point of the creativity.
Now, baring in mind that the term 'slasher' is basically in the title, you're probably expecting a lot of killing. There is some, but - wow - do they make you wait for it. There's a large cast, but no one actually dies until quite a way into the movie. Secondly, you may be thinking that a film marketing itself on gory murder you may also think they the producers would have taken their time coming up with some totally outlandish and intricate kills. They don't. Sorry if this is a 'spoiler,' but people get stabbed - mainly in the head, but occasionally in the stomach.
As I mentioned the cast is quite large for a slasher film. Most of them are in no way developed and only get one or two real moments centre stage (and probably one of those is them receiving an axe to the forehead), but there are a couple who stand out - like the best friend who is probably the most likable of all of them.
I stuck with the film until the end, but largely because I wanted to know the hows and whys of why all of this had been happening. There is an explanation, but I have to say I was left a bit confused. Then I felt silly because the movie is hardly clever, so maybe I lost a couple of IQ points while I watched it.

A & P Productions makes some awesome content!! Between their cult films, "Cinco De Mayo", "Streets of Vengeance" and now their latest - "Murdercise", I can't decide which one I like more! "Slashlotette Party" is a fun, wonky, all over the place cabin in the woods slasher movie that makes a huge nod to classic horror films of the 1980s. Writers and Directors Paul Ragsdale and Angie Alba manage to work in quite an intense and suspenseful subplot with our main character Brie and her fiance Dolph. I found myself actually clenching my fists during a few of their intense moments! The acting from everyone on screen was very passable and believable and it definitely was enough to keep my interest and keep me invested in the film! I really enjoyed the cinematography and the lighting as it truly reminded me of all the old school slasher films I'm a huge fan of! I would have to say this one feels a lot like "American Horror Story 1984" meets "Friday the 13th".
With all that aside, I really enjoyed each and every one of the characters in this film as well as some of the more light hearted and comedic moments. Ginger Lynn Allen was amazing in this (as she is in everything she does) and did a great job as the uncanny Dr. Petras (her plot twist was GREAT!). Ultimately if you're a fan of indie B-movie slashers then this definitely something you wanna check out! Great kills, great cast, good acting, good and intriguing story, and in the end I felt satisfied with what it delivered! It's fun and entertaining and at the end of the day that's all you ask for from ANY type of movie! They're made to entertain us and this one sure did!

Imagine this movie while you're watching it with the regular cast from Rob Zombie movies. Cool story that's kind of all over the place and too far fetched but it has potential. Ultimately it suffers from the production but it's a damn good swing though.
