Tricks are played on the viewer when a set of hallucinations are a part of the story. Did it not occur to someone that one of the people was going to age 50 years while the other was in suspended animation. This is a love story, but it begs the question, why was this guy picked to go on this mission when his commitment was so skewed. It was still interesting.
