Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition, with all Dlc packs, is coming to mobile in 2024, promising thousands of hours of gameplay. Popular survival game Ark is making the move to mobile due to powerful smartphones and successful game ports. Developed by Grove Street Games, the port will feature all 150 dinosaurs.
Ark: Survival Evolved players who want to take their dinosaur-taming adventures on the go are in luck because the complete version of the original survival game is coming to mobile devices. Given the increasingly powerful nature of smartphones, many major developers and publishers have begun porting some major hits to mobile platforms. With games like Resident Evil: Village and Assassin's Creed: Mirage entirely playable on phones, it stands to reason that a slightly older game like Ark would be a relatively smooth experience if the control scheme is able to support its occasionally confusing Ui.

The first set of Ark: Survival Ascended DLCs were released throughout 2023 and early 2024, including Cryopods, Survival Of The Fittest, Scorched Earth, and more. Content expansions for Survival Ascended introduce new maps, creatures, mechanics like Cryopods and the battle royale game mode Survival of the Fittest. Scheduled Dlc releases for late 2024 and 2025 include Aberration, Ragnarok, Extinction, and Genesis Parts 1 & 2 with unique maps and content.
Ark: Survival Ascended is a remaster of 2015's Ark: Survival Evolved, but the newer version does not contain all the content released over the lifetime of the original. Enjoying regular support since its release, Survival Evolved received both paid and free expansions after its release. Though Survival Ascended includes a number of quality-of-life improvements in addition to its superior visuals, it is notably light on content compared to the original. This will, however, be rectified over the next two years, according to a roadmap laid out for the game's Dlc.

The Center Dlc for Ark: Survival Ascended offers a diverse map with various biomes and underwater caves. The map features a wide range of dinosaurs, and a unique boss fight with challenging gameplay elements. The Center is a balanced alternative to other DLCs, providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience for players.
Ark: Survival Ascended has released its third Dlc map, The Center, which poses new challenges compared to the previous maps. Ascended has continued to release its past Dlc for the upgraded game. Luckily, all these DLCs are free upon purchase of the game, though Studio Wildcard had added paid Dlc as well. Though Ascended has had a rough reputation due to its high spec requirements, many of its improvements have accomplished the goal of being an upgrade.

Ark: Survival Ascended has much better graphics and utilizes Unreal Engine 5, making the game's visuals, textures, dinosaurs, and lighting look better than in Ark: Survival Evolved. In Ark: Survival Ascended, players can access in-game mods directly from a menu, making it easier to enhance their gameplay experience compared to going through the Steam Workshop. This feature is also available on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Ark: Survival Ascended introduces several quality-of-life improvements, such as a customizable camera with a zoom feature that provides a wider view of the battlefield and improved inventory controls with a new item hotbar.
Though Ark: Survival Ascended has the same core gameplay loop as Ark: Survival Evolved, there are some differences between the two titles. After all, though it has undergone a series of major updates and expansions since it was launched, Survival Evolved is now nearly a decade old, having been released in 2015. The multiplayer...

New Scorched Earth update for Ark: Survival Ascended brings dangerous sandstorms and hot temperatures, changing gameplay dynamics. Fasolasuchus and Oasisaur are introduced in free update, with challenging taming mechanics and unique abilities for players to explore. Wyvern and Oasis Caves have been added, providing buildable areas with unique features and loot opportunities for players in PvP environments.
Ark: Survival Ascended Scorched Earth's release brought with it a host of new updates that fundamentally change how the game is played. Much like the original Ark: Survival Evolved, Scorched Earth introduces a new desert biome filled with hazards like sandstorms that can significantly impact the environment, as well as super-hot temperatures that can dry out any adventurer without a good supply of water.
In addition to adding a host of new creatures and dinosaurs, the Scorched Earth free update introduces new things that weren't in the previous 2016 version of the release for Ase.

Scorched Earth introduces harsh environmental challenges, including heat waves and water scarcity. The Island offers a wider variety of creatures for taming than Scorched Earth. Both maps in Ark: Survival Ascended provide unique and challenging gameplay experiences.
With Ark: Survival Ascended adding the Scorched Earth map to the game, it provides unique challenges not seen on the classic Island map. Though the upgraded version of the popular Ark: Survival Evolved has been met with trouble running on lower-end PCs, it has still been a success for the franchise. The upgrade fixed many graphical and technical issues affecting the original while adding quality-of-life changes that were originally only in mods. This re-release has also given players something to hold them over while Ark 2 continues development.

The Match Factory has acquired international rights to Russian director Victor Kossakovsky’s new documentary Architecton ahead of its Berlinale world premiere.
The film project follows the filmmaker’s farmyard doc Gunda, which played in Berlinale Encounters in 2020, and Aquerala, which world premiered Out of Competition In Venice in 2018.
The Match Factory describes Kossakovsky’s new film as “an epic, intimate and poetic meditation” on architecture and how the design and construction of buildings from the ancient past reveal mankind’s present destruction.
Focusing on a landscape project by the Italian architect Michele de Lucci, Kossakovsky reflects on the rise and fall of civilizations, using imagery from the temple ruins of Baalbek in Lebanon, dating back to Ad 60, to the recent destruction of cities in Turkey following a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in early 2023.

As we’ve said over the past few years, the films being produced by the students at the London Film School are always an apt barometer for the standard of budding filmmakers based across the UK and Europe. The school offers its cohort industry-leading tuition alongside professional equipment to make great work but both those elements are nothing if you don’t have a strong idea and a talented filmmaker to utilise them. Fortunately, as demonstrated in this year’s graduate showcase, the crop of promising talent and fresh ideas are in abundance. It’s been incredibly tricky to narrow down the shorts this year into a tight list of ten as the standard across the board was so high so if you’re able to get across to the BFI Southbank this week (22nd – 26th January 2024) to catch the programme in its entirety, you won’t regret it. Berlinale co-directors Carlo Chatrian and Mariette Rissenbeek are going out with a bang in their final year, with a lineup unveiled today featuring the latest works by Olivier Assayas, Bruno Dumont, Mati Diop, Hong Sang-soo, Abderrahmane Sissako, Jane Schoenbrun, Alonso Ruizpalacios, Matias Pineiro, Travis Wilkerson, Kazik Radwanski, Annie Baker, and more.
When the co-directors were asked by Screen Daily about their departure, Chatrian said, “It’s quite simple. Mariette and I had a mandate of five years. It is true that at the beginning I said that I was willing to go on because there was a shared will with the [German] Ministry [of Culture] to go on. But then the people who have the responsibility to see the future of the Berlinale thought this structure of two leaders was not the right one and I don’t consider myself able to run the festival alone. And that was the decision of the Ministry.

Ark: Survival Ascended is expanding with the addition of Scorched Earth, a remake of the first paid Dlc for the original game. The release of Scorched Earth has faced delays but is now set to launch on April 1, 2024. The remake will feature new dinosaurs, including the Fasolasuchus, and new skins, with some cosmetic options available through additional purchases.
Ark: Survival Ascended is going to be expanded with the addition of Scorched Earth, a remake of the first paid Dlc for the original Ark: Survival Evolved. As Survival Evolved underwent years of expansion from a comparatively slim early access release, the new Unreal Engine 5 iteration of the game known as Survival Ascended is now taking on a similar path to restore the full sum of content piece by piece. It isn't all going to be a one-to-one comparison, however, with Scorched Earth making some changes and additions for its new implementation.

Dlc expansions are not the only focus of future content in Ark: Survival Ascended. A major update to the game's development kit is being planned to allow players to create entirely new games using the system. The graphical quality of Ark: Survival Ascended's assets, which push the detail possible in Unreal Engine 5, makes it easier to create appealing environments when using the dev kit. Ark: Survival Ascended is making community-made content more accessible for console users by partnering with major mod platform CurseForge, allowing console players to access published content.
Dlc expansions might seem like the main thing to look forward to in the future of Ark: Survival Ascended, but the most interesting update in the works is a different sort of thing entirely. Ark: Survival Ascended already has a much clearer roadmap than most games, thanks to the fact that it follows a pre-established formula as a remake of Ark: Survival Evolved.

Ark: Survival Ascended is somewhere between a remake, remaster, and reimagining of the original game. The game was released on time for the PC, with console releases coming soon. Ark: Survival Ascended represents a major graphical, gameplay, and interface overhaul of the original game.
Ark: Survival Ascended could be here sooner than anyone expected. The successor to 2017's Ark: Survival Evolved, Ascended lands somewhere between a remake, a remaster, and a reimagining of the original game. It follows the classic survival formula, with players crafting weapons, equipment, and homes to defend themselves against dinosaurs, mythical creatures, and other hostile players. Its unique twist, though, is that some of those megafauna can be tamed to aid in daily life or enemy base raiding.

New Delhi, Aug 14 (Ians) With another heatwave hitting Britain this weekend, churches around the country are offering their large, stone buildings as a sanctuary for people seeking refuge from the unbearable temperatures.
In London, Rev John MacKenzie, vicar of St Luke’s Church, West Holloway, is offering respite for those seeking to escape overheating homes.
He said: “Throughout history, churches have been places of sanctuary so it’s fitting that our nice, cool buildings are a source of refuge for people trying to avoid the heat.
“Whether it’s running food banks or offering a night shelter for the homeless, churches are often trying to help the local community so as we have these large, stone buildings it makes sense to open them up for the public to use.

The Fighting-type in Pokémon Tcg is all about muscle and damage. The Fighting-type banner is a vast one as it covers Rock-type, Ground-type, and the typical Fighting-type pokémon. For this very reason, it also comes equipped with the shared weaknesses of all these similar types. Two of the major weaknesses that haunt this type include powerful Grass-type pokémon, as well as powerful Psychic-type pokémon, both of which are fairly common in the Ptcg.
Related: 10 Pokemon That Were Too Scary to Be In Detective Pikachu
However, this doesn't mean that the Fighting-type should be taken lightly. The Fighting-type exhibits a brilliant potential for damage output and also comes equipped with a high base power. Furthermore, most of the pokémon belonging to this type does not carry with themselves any kind of recoil cost, meaning that players would not have to sacrifice their energy cards or suffer recoil-damage for using the attacks and abilities of Fighting-type pokémon.

Janet Montgomery turned a nightmare into a graphic novel.
The star of NBC’s New Amsterdam had a dream of being on an airplane and seeing the world below burning in a wave of fire. Now, eight years later, that idea has turned into Scorched Earth, a graphic novel that hits stores and digital this week from upstart publisher Paper Movies.
The story, which has tones recalling Lost and humans-are-worse-than-the-monsters themes of The Walking Dead, is set in motion after a flash inferno engulfs the planet with the only survivors being those aboard airplanes. The survivors must then navigate a scorched world with threats ...

Netflix seems to have found its niche. In the films department, the streamer has invested heavily of late in prestige content from some of Hollywood’s most respected minds, resulting in awards-friendly (if not award-winning) output like Marriage Story, The Irishman and The Two Popes.
The TV department has different priorities. Bingeable true crime documentaries and soapy dramas fill the site’s television slate, driving clicks and social media conversation often with markedly less investment. Think Locke & Key, Riverdale, You.
Dare Me is the quintessential new addition to that latter group. A ten-part series which first aired in the States on the USA Network late last year, joining Netflix internationally March 20, the show is a claustrophobic and occasionally bloody look at the always-competitive dynamic of high school teens. Hey, "Power" fans. If you were looking for the brand new episode 9 of this current season 6 last night, October 20, 2019, I imagine you were greatly disappointed to see that it was not on. Yeah, for some reason, Starz decided not to air the new episode 9 this week. We're still not sure why. Instead, they aired the 8th episode of season 6 rerun on the east coast. That episode is called, "Deal With The Devil." Starz's official description of it reads like this, "The Feds turn the heat up on Tommy and scare Lakeisha into cooperating. Ghost discontinues a relationship with an ally. Tasha confronts a snitch, which hits a little too close to home." Then on the west coast, they aired the 4th episode of this current season 6, which is labeled, "Why Is Tommy Still Alive?" Starz's official description of that one reads like this, "Tasha meets a new flame; Ghost does...

MaryAnn’s quick take… Gina Carano roams a mild yet tedious postapocalyptic wasteland as a bounty hunter, and either you are here for this lady badass of our feminazi dreams, or you are not. I’m “biast” (pro): I’m desperate for stories about women
