LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V independent review! 21309

Nineteen hours after setting out to buy the set, here's review of the highly anticipated LEGO Ideas Saturn V rocket, which itself sold out on the Shop at Home website even more quickly than the Creator Shuttle and Friends Heartlake Hospital!  The scale of this monster is almost silly for a retail set; sat on its side, it's nearly as long as the Super Star Destroyer.  Nearly everything about this exceeds my expectations.  The hype really is justified.
Supplement: This review beat out my previous day 1 viewership record holder to became my first ever video to surpass 100k views in its initial 24-hour period.  Considering also the 100:1 like/dislike ratio, it's readily apparent that people really like this set!  It's too bad there is so little subject material in the real world that allows for such a large and accurate model to be made with so few pieces. I mean think about it -- Assembly Square uses more than twice the parts, and even the Simpsons Kwik-E-Mart beats it for complexity.

LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Space Shuttle Explorer review! 31066

Fantastic, a compact minifig-compatible space shuttle with mostly brick-built nose, plus there are two full alternate builds, to boot.  It's LEGO done right.

Vintage LEGO Rocket Base 358 from 1973 reviewed

Happy Flashback Friday or belated Throwback Thursday :)  One insignificant piece in this set is a bit too new and a few are a bit too old (all direct & close substitutions), but overall it's a pretty faithfully preserved piece of history from before the dawn of the minifig era.

LEGO Blacktron Renegade from 1987! set 6954

It's been quite awhile since my last classic LEGO space set review, eh?  This here is one that's been on & off my radar for years and I've had it for weeks if not months (I forget how long ago it showed up in a haul video).  I'm happy to see that all built up, it does not disappoint, and in fact, there's more too it than I expected with numerous movable and/or removable features.

Custom LEGO Galactic-class Destroyer micro & nano MOCs

Yes!  I got it done!  Really happy about this one because I built the original version of the nanoscale prototype months ago and the concept hasn't drifted far from top-of-mind since.

I also made Vine of the ship spinning, for what it's worth.

LEGO Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter from 2010! set 8088

Here's the second minifig-scale ARC-170 that LEGO did, 5 years after the first.  Another 5 years later, instead of another direct redesign, they'd release the Microfighters version :)

LEGO Launch Command Moon Walker from 1995! set 6516

I can never get too much LEGO space-themed stuff, especially ones that were semi-realistic in the vein of space exploration, like the classics.

LEGO Life on Mars T-3 Trike from 2001 reviewed! set 7312

I've done some LEGO Mars Mission reviews (with more to come), but here's my first personal taste of its predecessor, Life on Mars.
