Diesen Oktober wurde unser Hamburger Büro ganz in Pink getaucht – und das aus einem wichtigen Anlass 🩷 Im Rahmen des Pinktober hat unser Women’s Network inspirierende Workshops und Webinare organisiert, um das Bewusstsein für Brustkrebs zu stärken. Alle Kolleg:innen waren eingeladen, sich zu informieren und gemeinsam ein Zeichen für Solidarität und Prävention zu setzen. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Zusammenarbeit mit Discovering Hands 🙌, die uns mit Workshops zu den Themen “Brustgesundheit: Aspekte der Früherkennung“ und „Anleitung zur Tast-Selbstuntersuchung“ unterstützt haben – eine wertvolle Initiative, um über Früherkennung und Achtsamkeit im Alltag zu sprechen. Danke an unser Women’s Network und an alle, die Pinktober mitgestaltet haben – besonders Sylvia Steinau, Lea Hartmann, Isabelle Schulze, Kirstyn Rautenbach und Fiona Plankel. El 14 de octubre, en Cali, vivimos una ocasión que nos llena de orgullo y esperanza. Ese día, Colgate-Palmolive Colombia dio inicio oficialmente al proyecto de expansión del Colegio La Fontaine CaliCO en el barrio Siloe, Comuna 20 de Cali Este es un proyecto liderado por Lilibeydy Manrique y Adarley Manrique R dos hermanos, profesores bilingues, con una visión clara para desarrollar un colegio de calidad con educación bilingüe para los niños de esta comuna. Ellos llevan 9 años con el colegio y ahora con la colaboracion de Colgate-Palmolive Colombia y la coordinacion de Educambio, damos los primeros pasos para construir una sede propia para el colegio con instalaciones amplias, prácticas y dignas, para que los niños de la Comuna 20 finalmente tengan un colegio desde primer grado hasta bachillerato completo, sin tener que desplazarse fuera de su area. 🤝 Este proyecto se desarrolla en alianza con Educambio, quien actúa como ejecutor de este proyecto. Con ellos hemos trabajado en muchas iniciativas y sabemos de su seriedad e idoneidad para este tipo de iniciativas. Agradecemos a Lucas Bravo Reyes y el equipo de Educambio por presentarnos el Colegio La Fontaine CaliCO y a los hermanos Manrrique. Estamos seguros que con esta alianza tripartita, vamos a lograr construir este colegio que es un sueño, para que los niños de la comuna 20 de Cali sigan educandose y que puedan sonrreir a su futuro. En Colgate-Palmolive creemos firmemente que la educación es la puerta a un mejor futuro.
