What started as a senior design project in CREATE-X Capstone has grown into universities nationwide, redefining how they measure and reduce food waste. Raccoon Eyes AI 🦝, founded by CREATE-X alumnus Ivan Zou, and Georgia Tech alumnus, Bowen Tan, is helping university kitchens reduce food waste through smart scanners, behavioral science, and student engagement. Their platform empowers dining teams to optimize recipes, minimize overproduction, and promote mindful eating using real-time data, cutting waste by up to 70%. This is the kind of impact CREATE-X was built to support. We’re proud to see our alumni leading the charge toward a more sustainable future. 🔗 Read the full story on Causeartist: https://lnkd.in/emf4Mctn Georgia Tech Office of Commercialization

🚀 New Startup Launch alumni already making waves with Deleon Technologies! Congratulations to Chad Pozarycki, PhD, and José Luis R. Andrade for securing a $500K investment to advance their device, which uses a tiny daily sample to give people easy-to-understand health insights, like a personalized “weather report” for your body. Deleon has found a way to improve personal health, one drop at a time. 💧🔬 👉 Ready to build your own venture to tackle real-world problems? Applications for the next Startup Launch season are open, and CREATE-X is here to help you launch with confidence. 📲 Follow us for updates or visit https://lnkd.in/e7UNTVsA to learn more. #CREATEX #StartupLaunch #GTStartups #HealthTech #Entrepreneurship #GeorgiaTech #Innovation #Founders
I’m still in shock. Today we landed a $500,000 check. That number isn’t just money—it’s trust. It’s a vote for the biochemical digital clones we’re building at Deleon Technologies. 💧🔬📈 What is Deleon? We’re making a small, daily-use device that reads a drop of urine and turns it into simple, personal health signals—like a “daily weather report” for your body. Think training and recovery insights today, and soon earlier warnings for disease long before symptoms. 🚀 Why us? I’ve spent years building instruments with NASA to measure hard-to-see chemistry—and our team is obsessed with turning that capability into something anyone can use at home. Everyone deserves to understand their own body, clearly and quickly. ⏰ We’re about to close our round, and I’m incredibly grateful to the believers who got us here—our early customers, mentors, and the people who took a bet on us. 🤓 If you’re an engineer who loves shipping hard things, DM me. We are looking to grow our team. 🦸♂️ Huge shoutout to Boost VC and the folks there who believe in us!
