In the dynamic neighborhood of Rohrmoser, Gensler assisted the client in creating the new concept for Bottega Nunciatura, a satellite store focused on importing select gourmet products and wines from the Old and New World. This new format preserves the essence and provides a faithful experience of the original location, utilizing every space to create a warm environment where wine and gastronomy enthusiasts can discover and taste a diverse selection of products. ©Gensler, 📸Natalia Soto #CommunityDesign #Retail

The Walmart Home Office is officially open! Located in the company’s hometown of Bentonville, AR, and spanning 350 acres, the Home Office brings their Associates together on a modern, connected and sustainably-focused campus that also supports their health and wellbeing. More than 2 million square feet of office space is built with mass timber and each office building provides ample daylight, as well as indoor and outdoor flexible workspaces outfitted with the latest technology to create a seamless “work anywhere” experience. The Razorback Regional Greenway runs throughout the campus, replete with bike and walking trails to encourage mobility. Other unique amenities include a childcare center, fitness center, a bespoke coffee shop known as the “Tree House” and food hall – all designed to foster community and connection. We are honored to serve as Executive Architect of the Home Office and Design Architect for the office buildings, parking decks, retail, site, and Tree House coffee shop. Congratulations to our clients and project partners! https://lnkd.in/gv6MXC7c

The concept of Alta Garage aims to give it a second life beyond parking by providing a unique opportunity for future conversion. 📸 Kyle Jeffers #Conversion #Architecture #BuildToSuit

Tucked into a bright, corner retail space in Portland’s Pearl District is a new scoop shop proudly catering to ice cream lovers seeking health-conscious options. The design team worked closely with Cosmic Bliss to create their first brick-and-mortar and flagship shop — a space designed to be an experience from the moment one steps off the sidewalk and through the doors. ©Gensler, 📸 Wendell Weithers | 📍Portland, OR #Retail #ConsumerExperience #Design

What if we stopped thinking of the office as a place and started seeing it as a service? The idea of Workplace as a Service (WaaS) is about creating dynamic, adaptable workspaces that evolve with the needs of a multigenerational workforce. It's not just about adding amenities—it's about providing flexibility, personalization, and a seamless experience for every employee. London's office buildings are due for a major transformation especially with the rise of hybrid work, sustainability demands and shifting tenant needs. Many older offices no longer meet modern expectations and revitalizing these spaces requires a fresh approach—whether through light interventions, mixed-use redesigns, or even office-to-residential conversions. Gensler’s Richard Harrison explores ways to reimagine and adapt London's dated office stock to create vibrant, sustainable environments that attract top talent and foster community. https://lnkd.in/ec2FmuNN #OfficeDesign #Sustainability #UrbanTransformation
